The people who join this club take your fitness goals seriously. We understand that losing weight and gaining muscle can be challenging, especially if you are working on your health over 40, are concerned about your Senior health and possibly mildly disabled. Together, we help fellow members overcome these hurdles of getting fit over 40, so you can reach your goals.
First, while this is a private club, there is no fee to join or for continued membership in it. However, members who elect to rent a room or facility to hold meetings and/or classes in, to hire a professional trainer to lead our group classes or to join (as a group) a class that is outside of our group - will share equally in those expenses. These expenses will be agreed to and paid for equally, by all club members who want to participate in meetings and/or classes held in said rented room and/or facility. Second, this club is designed for individuals that are 40 and older who have some physical limitations, still ambulatory - but may need a walker or cane to walk with. Third, members are expected to actually attend at least two meetings and/or classes each week. Yes, this is an ACTIVE PARTICIPATION group. It IS NOT an "online only, cyber, virtual reality" group. Fourth, and most importantly, our members will treat one another with respect, dignity, compassion and WILL have fun hanging out with fellow members!
I understand that adapting new fitness habits is difficult and often times fails, especially for those over 40 and have physical limitations, like myself. My goal is to help change your view on fitness, so that it becomes apart of who you are and your lifestyle. I strongly believe that if you practice healthy habits, you will be able to obtain a healthy lifestyle. I am not a professional trainer or a medical professional. Who I am, is a caring, physically disabled, 53 yr old woman who wants to get as healthy as possible and desires passionately, to help similar individuals desiring improved health & quality of life, to achieve the same. What I have learned, will learn, what I've done and will do for my own health and improved quality of life, I will share with the group. In turn, members are welcomed and encouraged, to share what they've done and know, that has improved their own health & quality of life, with the group. We're here to learn, to teach, to help, grow and improve our health and our quality of life...together!
Hugs & Friendship, Always
